Use of "What" in many way 

a) what is your name ?

तुम्हारा नाम क्या है ?

b) what is your father's name ?

तुम्हारे पिता का नाम क्या है?

c) What is his sister's name ?

उसकी बहन का नाम क्या है ?

  •     What are you doing ?
  •     What is this?
  •     What is your father ?
  •     What is your father-in-law ?

d) What is your school's name? ( X ) wrong sentence.

e) What is the name of your school ? ( _/ ) this is right sentence.

f) What is the name of your village ? ( _/ )

Note that : above examples we see that in case of living thing use ( ' ) and example E $ F we didn't use ( ' )
